LibreOffice Viewerはいくつかのファイル形式をサポートします：• Open Document Format (odt, ods, odp);• Microsoft Office 2007/2010/2013 (docx, xlsx, pptx);• Microsoft Office 97/2000/XP/2003 (doc, xls, ppt).
LibreOffice Viewerはまた、基本的な編集機能、例えば既存の段落の単語を修正したりとか、太字や斜体といったフォント形式を変更したりする機能を提供しています。編集機能は開発者のコミュニティによって将来的に拡張される予定です。
ユーザーの皆さんは不具合の報告をすることが推奨されます。バグ追跡サイト https://bugs.documentfoundation.org を利用して、不具合が起きたファイルを添付できます。
LibreOffice Viewerは、Windows, OS X, Linux向けのLibreOfficeと同じエンジンを利用しています。Firefox for Androidによる新しいフロントエンドと結合されて、デスクトップ版LibreOfficeと同じようにドキュメントを読めるようになっています。
